We wind up the year with our annual period-dress invitational Fall Harvest Festival. While the motif is primarily a Colonial Harvest party, our cowboy friends are also invited.
Our parties are held at the Fountainbleau Inn, a 200 year old early settler’s mansion on the shores of Cayuta Lake, about a mile from our club house.
We typically have a roaring log fire in the fireplace; some kind of music, e.g., bagpipes, a capella chorus, piano; colonial dancing; excellent colonial fare; and various other entertainments. A splendid way to end the year.
